It's been far too long....

... but as I find myself recently redundant what better time filler than blogging! There is certainly a nip in the air so t's time to think practical and get some winter warmers! Top of my winter style hit list this year is some chelsea boots. So far i've found some lovely leather numbers...

ASOS - ATHENS Leather Chelsea Boot - £50

ASOS - ADVENTURE Leather Chelsea Boot- £50

Office - DALLAS Leather Chelsea Boot - £70

Slouchy knitwear and très chic trench coats!

Or more to the point my new autumnal purchases!

First up a dusky pink wide neck sequined sweater. Perfect for this time of year as it isn't too thick or chunky so ideal for layering under think jackets or trench coats......

Voila! My bargain £6.99 trench coat! Bring on the September showers!

I seem to have an eye for knitwear with a touch of sparkle this month as I picked up this chunkier cream sweater from New Look http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/knitwear/foil-print-jumper_229727993?icSort=-publishDate which has a sort of gold leaf/foil effect. Think it is one I will keep for the chillier weather teamed with some dark demin skinny jeans (slighty rolled up maybe?) and some biker-esq boots or brown leather brogues! x

Happy thoughts....

Oh so true!

Hair inspirations

Think it's time to experiment with some new hair looks.....

Will need to wait till my hair gets a little longer before attempting this messy up do
Perfect effortless top-knots! Loving the sequin sleeved blazer as well!
The last style most definitely makes me regret getting my hair chopped into a blunt bob; I find that Moroccan Oil (http://moroccanoil.com/) makes my hair grown faster so I will continue slathering that on until my hair grows suitably long enough to try out the messy top-knot look! It may be pricey at £12 for a small bottle but my hair would be split end central without it!x

Some A/W 2011 Outfit Inspiration

Seems silly to be thinking about my A/W wardrobe when I'm yet to have my summer holiday but hey ho it is September next month after all! X

Loving the sixties-esq hair do and the chunky knit sweater the mary-jane shoes will be perfect for the office as well.

The fur gilet looks warm and practical good call Olivia Palemo, think I will choose faux fur next season though slightly easier on the wallet and ofcourse the conscience!
Rusty orange is a fave colour of mine and oh so key for A/W 2011 this is a great look for relaxing on a Sunday!

Back to Blogging!

What a hectic year! So hectic I haven't blogged in ages so it's time to get back into the saddle starting with some positive mental attitude!
