Wow two blogs posts in one day.... I may even make it three! I recently restored this Lloyd Loom chair as another little project, I acquired it from my good old Nan when I was about 11 and completely indifferent to the rules of not painting or defacing old furniture in any way I went ahead and painted it (badly) a bright turquoise colour. (The chair was originally an olive green with a green and gold padded seat) I felt sad looking at it in all its turquoise glory so decided to repair and recover the seat and paint it a more modest cream shade, I think you will agree it is definitely more easy on the eye now and perfect for sitting at my dressing table whilst dolling myself up!x
